14B.5.8 Ball In Spokes
If the ball gets stuck between the spokes of someone's unicycle, the opposing team gets
a free shot (not a 6.5 m penalty).
Do we need the (not a 6.5 m penalty), or could this be worded better for a rulebook.
I think everyone knows this rule by now, so "not a 6.5 m penalty" should be removed, but also this rule is worded how you would casually tell a new player the rules, not for a rulebook.
It would be better to have something like the below. It is longer but this reads better for a rulebook.
14B.5.8 Ball In Spokes
In the event that a ball becomes lodged within a players wheel, possession will be given to the opposing team as a free shot. The indirect shot shall be taken from the location of the incident, unless the incident occurs within the goal area, in which case a corner shot or goalkeeper’s ball shall be awarded (see 14B.9.1 Free Shot).
I have no issues with not changing this rule if no one has any interest. But as an English speaker the wording of that rule is extremely casual compared to the rest of the rulebook.

Thanks for the suggestion, sound better and I support changing the rules in that regard.
I would not include details about the free shot in this rule (to keep them apart). More specifically, I suggest:
In the event that a ball becomes lodged within a players wheel, possession will be given to the opposing team as a free shot. The free shot shall be taken from the location of the incident, unless the incident occurs within the goal area, in which case a corner shot or goalkeeper’s ball shall be awarded (see 14B.9.1 Free Shot).
I'm not sure whether the "as a free shot" at the end of the first sentence is needed, but for clarity, I would keep it.

Better wording, no rule change, good point. "as a free shot" at the end of the first sentence is not needed, if we beginn the next sentence with "This free shot ..."
Or better shorter: In the event that a ball becomes lodged within a players wheel, possession will be given to the opposing team as a free shot (For execution see 14B.9.1 Free Shot).

I like Herbies last short version!
