Finalizing the revision and editorial adjustments

This discussion has an associated proposal but it has not been approved yet.

I will try to create a draft of the revised Chapter 3 in the next few days, which takes into account all the proposed changes. This discussion and the associated proposal are intended to allow us to proofread the revisions as a whole and to suggest editorial changes - e.g. the introduction of the paragraph structure for rules that we have not revised in the process so far and which therefore still have the old structure.

So for the moment the proposal is only a dummy proposal until we have a draft version of the whole chapter.

I wonder whether this might involve the deletion of certain sections that have become unnecessary, such as section 3D.14 Special Marathon Events with the modifications on mass start and drafting, and section 3D.15.3 Distance Measurement for Free Distance Race if proposition 93 is voted through.

Can these deletions be considered as adjustments, or would it be better for me to make proposals for each of these deletions?

Comment

I would say that if we already know that some sections will become obsolete or need to be adapted as a result of proposals that have already been accepted, then we can create separate proposals for them today.
In the case of 3D.15.3 Distance Measurement for Free Distance Race, I would integrate the proposal to delete this section into Proposal 93, as the two are connected anyway.

And for the other editorial changes we can use the finalization phase.

Now that all votings are completed, it is time to review all rules of the Road section and check for any spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, or other mistakes that may have crept in and can be corrected through an editorial revision.
You can find the draft of the Road section under the following link: https://einrad-bdr.de/upload/file/IUF_Rulebook_Committee/iuf-rulebook_Road_DRAFT_v250827.pdf
All changes are highlighted in the document.
