Thanks for this proposal, I can support the general idea of this proposal, but I think it needs more work with wording.

Although I can understand why there is the term "goalkeeper" in the situations, we do not have a "goalkeeper" in the rules, so I think we need to find another wording that avoids this term. I will have a try for a better wording latest next weekend.

I don't agree with the last situation: "If a goalkeeper  the last player (?) fouls the attacker during a shot attempt, and it is assumed that the attacker would have had a promising shot on the goal." If the last player commits a foul during a shot attempt, I can't see any need for a promising shot. Any foul during a shot attempt prevents a direct chance to score a goal. This is different from the above situation with a "fouling" player and an additional player still between the ball and the goal ("goalkeeper").

Additionally: please highlight only the additional changes and not those introduced by other passed proposals. I think this makes it only more confusing.

I think we are unlikely to have much discussion here except for perhaps Ole, Nicolai and Myself and we havent had much discussion on this prior to July 20th

I think we are better off discussing next time round when all committee members are reenergised and we have a little more certainty that we are voting for something that the majority agree on.
