Distance increments

In the other discussion, it was discussed that increasing the distance by 1 cm is very useful and should be retained. Mark had commented that the rule (13B.11) for the long jump on the platform needs to be worded more precisely to reflect this. While I would agree that the 1 cm rule is not really clear from 13B.11 currently, I noticed that with 13B.7 Height and Distance Settings we have a general section for all jump disciplines that describes exactly this and that rules 13B.8 to 13B.11 do not, in my opinion, create a misleading contradiction to this. I would therefore like to ask again at this point how the others see this and if and where you think the wording should be adjusted.

Good point Jan. It is true that 13B.7 sets it very clearly. Maybe we can reference 13B.7 in the Event Flow sections?

Since there were no further comments on this, I would say we leave it for the moment with the existing rule 13B.7 and if this proves to be insufficient in the next few years, we can add appropriate references to the event flow sections in the next rulebook update.
